Monique Bekeschus, MS, BCBA

is the Clinical Director of both BIA’s Central Valley's services and of The Village. Monique has worked with children and adolescents with autistic spectrum disorder since 1994. Since that time she has implemented, supervised and designed early intervention programs for children with ASD. Additionally Monique has consulted and provided training to teachers, aides and support staff in over 20 school districts across the Central Valley, Bay area and overseas. She also has years of experience providing trainings and workshops to parents and professionals in the community.
After spending 10 years in Sacramento, Monique returned to her roots here in the Central Valley . Her family has farmed and lived in this region since the 1800’s. Monique was pleased to return to the Valley and bring BIA’s services with her.  In 2005 BIA received a generous grant from the Dyer Family Foundation in order to open an inclusive preschool here in the Central Valley.  With hard work and the help of many committed community members The Village became a reality opening its doors in October 2006. Since that time The Village has grown both as a preschool and as an educational center for children with autistic spectrum disorder and their families.
